Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of eyewearcafe.shop and any order you place on it. Placing an order means you accept them.
1. Who you are dealing with

2. Eligibility and use of the site
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to give accurate delivery details and not to use this site to attempt fraudulent orders, to scrape it at volume, or to interfere with its operation. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
3. Products, descriptions and images
We describe every frame as accurately as we can, and we say what we do not know. Lens attributes such as UV400 protection or blue-light filtering are stated on the basis of supplier specifications for that lens. Nothing on this site is a medical claim: our products are ready-made eyewear and are not a substitute for an eye examination, a prescription lens, or the advice of a qualified optometrist.
Colours can shift between screens, and frame photographs are taken on a neutral background rather than on a face, so proportions may read differently in person. Where a listing shows more than one item in an image, the quantity actually supplied is the one written in the title and the description. If a listing carries an error in price or specification, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full rather than supply something other than what was described.
The business is not registered for GST. Based on its current circumstances, GST registration is not applicable at this time; GST is therefore not charged separately on any order, and no GST tax invoice bearing a GSTIN can be issued. Applicable delivery charges are shown before checkout is completed, and an order invoice is included with the parcel.
4. Orders, pricing and acceptance
An order placed on this site is an offer to buy. Our acceptance happens when we dispatch the item, not when the order is submitted, which is why an out-of-stock order can be cancelled and refunded. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include all taxes applicable to us. Shipping is charged as set out in our Shipping Policy: Free shipping on orders of ₹699 and above; a flat ₹49 applies below that.
5. Payment
We accept UPI and Cash on Delivery only. We do not accept cards or international payment services, and we do not store payment instruments. Details are in our Payment Policy.
6. Delivery, cancellation and returns
Delivery estimates are 3–9 business days from dispatch and are estimates, not guarantees. Orders may be cancelled free of charge before dispatch. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery on the conditions set out in our Return & Refund Policy, and refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Those policies form part of these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The text, layout, photography and the Eyewear Cafe name on this site belong to us and may not be copied or republished without written permission. Where a product image originates with a supplier, it is used to depict the item offered for sale and remains the property of its owner.
8. Warranties and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and except for the statutory rights you hold as a consumer, the products and this website are supplied “as is” and without any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not offer a manufacturer or extended warranty on the frames sold here; what we offer instead is the return and replacement route described in our Return & Refund Policy. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Indemnity and force majeure
You agree to hold us harmless against claims arising from your misuse of this site. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, natural events, strikes or failures of telecommunication or banking infrastructure.
10. Governing law, grievances and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and its e-commerce rules, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any dispute arising out of these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thane, Maharashtra.

11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the shop changes. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
